About this event

The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) is pleased to announce the Eighth edition of the prestigious Indo-French Business Awards 2026 (IFBA), scheduled to be held in New Delhi in 1st April 2026, New Delhi.

The Indo-French Business Awards, started in 2018 has now entered its 8th Year, acknowledging and honoring outstanding accomplishments of Indian and French companies based out of India.

On the same day, the VIE Grand Prix Awards will felicitate young and high performing French professionals through the VIE Awards ceremony.

INDO-FRENCH INNOVATION PARTNERSHIP OF THE YEAR

This award is for a French company operating in India or a subsidiary of a French company in India since at least 3 years (minimum). The winner will be decided based on the below criteria (you may highlight these points in the ‘abstract’ section).

CRITERIA
This award is for a French and Indian organizations (corporate/start-up/academic/tech) or its subsidiary for an Indo-French collaboration that has developed a breakthrough innovation together and will recognize joint achievements in: AI / Quantum / Space / Clean Tech / Energy transition / Advanced manufacturing / Cybersecurity / Defence tech. (please elaborate on these points, wherever applicable, in the ‘abstract’ section). 

  • Overview of the Indo-French collaboration (facts, origin, contributions).
  • Indo-French Relevance & Collaboration (if applicable) – Joint Indo-French R&D, co-development, or technology transfer involved in the innovation and contribution to strengthening Indo-French business ties.
  • Strategic Partnership & Business Impact – Demonstrated tangible business growth resulting from the partnership (e.g., revenue growth, market expansion, technology transfer).
  • Key areas of collaboration between your organization and your Indian partner(s).
  • List down the major achievements in India and highlight the most significant outcome(s) of your Indo-French collaboration in 2025-2026.
  • Social Impact and Sustainability.
  • List some supporting documents/videos (optional).

ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR

This award seeks to recognize the efforts and achievements of exceptional entrepreneurs, individuals and organizations who are working in the field of entrepreneurship development. The Awards also seek to highlight models of excellence for others to emulate and improve upon. The winner will be decided based on the below criteria (you may highlight these points in the ‘abstract’ section).

CRITERIA

This award seeks to recognize the efforts and achievements of exceptional entrepreneurs, individuals, and organizations who are working in the field of entrepreneurship development. The Awards also seek to highlight models of excellence for others to emulate and improve upon. The winner will be decided based on the criteria below (please elaborate on each criterion, wherever applicable, in the ‘abstract’ section). 

  • First Generation Entrepreneur: The definition of a first-generation entrepreneur for the scheme is “An entrepreneur who is not in the same line of business as his/her parent. They should have started the enterprise on their own initiative, idea, or innovation”.
  • Initial paid-up capital of the enterprise should not exceed INR 02 crore.
  • Not more than three years old.
  • Open to Indian/French Entrepreneurs operating in India (non-IFCCI members are eligible).

This award seeks to recognize the investments made by an Indian company in France enhancing the Indo-French Business Corridor, R&D and boosting employment opportunities in France. The winner will be decided based on the below criteria (you may highlight these points in the ‘abstract’ section).


CRITERIA

  • Company’s key achievements and milestones in 2025-26 that demonstrate excellence and innovation.
  • Contribution to strengthening Indo-French relations through collaborations or market expansion.
  • Innovation & Differentiation – Unique products, services, or business models that set the SME apart. Intellectual property creation (patents, trademarks, copyrights).
  • Any specific initiatives implemented to drive sustainability, employee well-being, or community impact within your organization.
  • Contribution to job creation and skill development.
  • Vision for innovation, industry disruption, or global expansion.
  • List some supporting documents/videos (optional).

This award seeks to recognize the investments made by an Indian company in France enhancing the Indo-French Business Corridor, R&D and boosting employment opportunities in France. The winner will be decided based on the below criteria (you may highlight these points in the ‘abstract’ section).


CRITERIA

This award is open to Startups and founders operating across the France–India corridor, including: French or Indian founders who have built or expanded a startup in the other country, as well as startups with active operations in both France and India. Applicants must demonstrate at least one year of operations in France or India and highlight a notable business achievement in 2025 linked to the Indo French market (such as strong growth, a product launch, or a strategic partnership).

Kindly note:- Define your significant success / achievement in 2025 in India; Mention about your company’s relationship with France; Share your revenue growth / product launch / significant partnerships
The winner will be selected based on the information provided in the ‘Abstract’ section of the nomination form.
