About this event

The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) is pleased to present the fifth edition of the prestigious INDO-FRENCH BUSINESS AWARDS 2023 (IFBA) on Wednesday 15 March 2023.

This event will take place in the Residence of France, New Delhi In the presence of H.E. Mr. Édouard Philippe, Former Prime Minister of France & Mayor – Le Havre.

The Indo-French Business Awards, started in 2018 has now entered its 5th Year, acknowledging and honouring outstanding accomplishments of Indian and French companies based out of India.

On the same day, the VIE Grand Prix Awards will felicitate young and high performing French professionals through the VIE Awards ceremony.

‘CHOOSE FRANCE – BEST INDIAN INVESTMENT IN FRANCE’

France’s economic attractiveness is booming and is attracting a growing number of foreign investors. This award seeks to recognize the investments made by an Indian company in France enhancing the Indo-French Business Corridor, R&D and boosting employment opportunities in France. The winner will be decided based on the below criteria (you may highlight these points in the ‘abstract’ section).

CRITERIA

  • Investment capital over a period of 3 years in EUR (2020, 2021 and 2022)
  • Establishment of any Research and Development? (List two points)
  • Number of employees hired in France in 2020, 2021 and 2022
  • Region of Investment in France
  • List some supporting documents/videos (optional)

ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR

This award seeks to recognize the efforts and achievements of exceptional entrepreneurs, individuals and organizations who are working in the field of entrepreneurship development. The Awards also seek to highlight models of excellence for others to emulate and improve upon. The winner will be decided based on the below criteria (you may highlight these points in the ‘abstract’ section).

CRITERIA

  • First Generation Entrepreneur: The definition of a first-generation entrepreneur for the scheme is “An entrepreneur who is not in the same line of business as his/her parent. They should have started the enterprise on their own initiative, idea, or innovation
  • Initial paid-up capital of the enterprise should not exceed INR 1 crore
  • Not more than three years old
  • Open to Indian/French Entrepreneurs operating in India (non-IFCCI members are eligible)
  • List some supporting documents/videos
  • Jury special consideration

This award is for a French company operating in India or a subsidiary of a French company in India since at least 3 years (minimum). The winner will be decided based on the below criteria (you may highlight these points in the ‘abstract’ section).

CRITERIA

  • Major achievement in India
  • Number of Employees
  • How has the company aided Indo-French trade?
  • List some facts on employment generation
  • Provide supporting documents/video (optional)
  • Make in India initiatives (if any)?
  • Ease of doing business (EODB) initiative (if any)?

This award is for an Indian/French company that has a bilateral connection and has implemented an innovative product/services par excellence. The winner will be decided based on the below criteria (you may highlight these points in the ‘abstract’ section).

  • Major achievement in India
  • Impact of community outreach
  • YoY profit and outreach (last 3 years)
  • Level of Sustainable approach
  • Social impact
  • Market/Brand Impact

This award is designed for companies or SMEs, members of the French Chamber, working with France/India and which have shown excellence and outstanding achievements in all aspects of their organization in 2022 (FY). The winner will be decided based on the below criteria (you may highlight these points in the ‘abstract’ section).

CRITERIA

  • This award is for companies that fulfil the criteria for small and medium enterprises as defined by the MSMED Act, 2006 will be considered under this segment
  • Manufacturing Enterprises and Services Enterprises across varied sectors
  • Preference would be given to companies with Social Responsibility and Innovation
  • The enterprise must be a for-profit business
  • The enterprise must be in existence in India for a minimum period of 2 years at the time of application and maximum of 5 years
  • The enterprise must disclose audited financial statements for the past 2 years for the purpose of screening and follow-up application
  • List some supporting documents/videos (optional)

  • List down the major achievements in India
  • How has it aided the Indo-French trade?
  • Any sustainable approach undertaken while executing this project
