IFCCI in partnership with Business France is organising the 3rd edition of the prestigious ‘Indo-French Business Awards 2021’ and Grand Prix VIE on Wednesday, 24th March 2021 in New Delhi.

This event will take place in the prestigious Leela Palace ballroom under strict Covid guidelines and will also be live streamed to IFCCI’s entire member database and stakeholders.

1. Best SME of the year

This award is for companies that fulfil the criteria for small and medium enterprises as defined by the MSMED Act, 2006 will be considered under this segment

CRITERIA

–  Manufacturing Enterprises and Services Enterprises across varied sectors

–  Preference would be given to companies with Social Responsibility and Innovation

– The enterprise must be a for-profit business

– The enterprise must be in existence in India for a minimum period of 2 years at the time of application and maximum of 5 years

– The enterprise must disclose audited financial statements for the past 2 years for the purpose of screening and follow-up application

– List some supporting documents/videos

– Jury special consideration

2. Best Entrepreneur of the Year

This award seeks to recognize the efforts and achievements of exceptional entrepreneurs, individuals and organisations who are working in the field of entrepreneurship development. The Awards also seek to highlight models of excellence for others to emulate and improve upon.

CRITERIA

– First Generation Entrepreneur: The definition of a first generation entrepreneur for the scheme is “An entrepreneur who is not in the same line of business as his/her parent. They should have started the enterprise on their own initiative, idea or innovation

– Initial paid-up capital of the enterprise should not exceed INR 1 crore

– Not more than three years old

– Open to French Entrepreneurs operating in India (non-IFCCI members are eligible)

– List some supporting documents/videos

3. Best French Group in India

This award is for a French company operating in India or subsidiary of a French company in India for more than 3 years.

CRITERIA

–  Major achievement in India

–  Number of Employees

–  How has it aided the Indo-French trade?

–  List some facts on employment generation

–  List some supporting documents/video

–  Make in India initiatives (if any)?

–  Ease of doing business (EODB) initiative (if any)? 

–  Jury special consideration

4. Best Indo-French Cooperation

This award is for an Indian/French company who has cooperated for a project/company/initiative in India in the last 3 years.

CRITERIA

–  List facts about the Company/Joint Venture project/ initiative

–  List down the major achievements in India

–  How has it aided the Indo-French trade?

–  Any sustainable approach undertaken while executing this project?

–  Geographic spread – Mention names of States covered under this project

–  Market/Brand Impact

–  FDI Investments

–  Employment generation

–  List some supporting documents/videos

–  Jury special consideration

5. Most Innovative Product / Service of the Year

This award is for an Indian/French company who has having a bilateral connect who has come up with an innovative product/services par excellence.

CRITERIA

–  Major achievement in India

–  Impact of community outreach

–  YoY profit and outreach (last 3 years)

–  Level of Sustainable approach

–  Social impact

–  Market/Brand Impact

–  Supporting documents/videos

–  Employment generation

–  Jury special consideration

6. Best CSR Project

CSR has gained unprecedented importance in India and with CSR becoming an integral part of companies, french companies are contributing immensely to the CSR segment in India and this award aims to recognize the best CSR projects of French companies in India.

CRITERIA

–  CSR-Fit and Relevance of the project

–  Project Design, Innovation and Approach

–  Outcome (Impacts) of the project

–  Scalability of the project

7. Choose France – Indian Investment in France Award 2020

France’s economic attractiveness is booming and is attracting a growing number of foreign investors. This award seeks to recognize the investments made by an Indian company in France enhancing the Indo-French Business Corridor, R&D and boosting employment opportunities in France.

8. Resilience in Business during COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic proved the need for all organizations to be able to foresee and manage challenging business conditions. This award would be given to a company which has built agile and responsible practices for long-term operational resilience in business during the Covid 19 crisis.

CRITERIA

–  Two major achievements in India during Covid 19


–  List two main facts about employment generation/retention accomplishments


–  List two points on how has the company responded in terms of overall governance and risk management to operational response


–  Has the company deployed Migration strategies, such as shifting its business portfolio mix across products, geographies, or business models to maximize opportunities and minimize adversity

9. Diversity and Inclusion Practice of the Year

This award will be awarded to an organization with the Best Practice in Diversity and Inclusion. True diversity means having people from all kinds of backgrounds and identities at every level of an organization.

CRITERIA
